  Hinerman-Orecchio Family's Pictures Say It All This was an absolute treat for our family's annual vaction to the lake. The view is true to the pictures on this page. The fishing in the chanel was great for are 2 boys. Seemed like every morning they was right there in the chanel fishing, hollaring for me to get out of bed to see the large bass or catfish they had caught. Even the in-laws enjoyed the views of this wonderful cabin on the lake. We have found the cabin which we plan to visit each year. The cabin housed all 8 of us with no problem.   Skippers Marina I'd a great place to stay, The cottages and Campers are kept clean, The owner is very helpful with advise on the area, They have wood and ice available. The location is very convenient. Pool is nice and lakefront pretty. We had an amazing weekend and will definitely go back.

  We've visited Lakeside annually for over 15 years and dealt with Street Sotheby for several rentals. The staff have been consistently well organized, efficient, and friendly, and we've never had a problem with the rental process. I was really happy to see that this year they've updated their reservation web site to supply online availability information! It's wonderfully convenient to immediately narrow down the list of properties, to only those cottages are actually available when we're planning to stay.

  Was not impressed. My impression is that this property is set up simply to make money. I would label it a "tourist trap." It does not fit the character of Lakeside in the sense that most cottages have the feel that the owner wants the guests to stay at their property and enjoy sharing in part of the owner's family tradition. Staff is inflexible and impersonal.
